Aims and scope

Journal of Management Information System Research and Development is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF that focuses on the core tasks of information systems management, the conceptual analysis, design, and deployment of information systems, as well as on all e-business related topics. The central aim of the journal is to publish original, well-written, self-contained contributions that elucidate novel research and innovation in information systems management and e-business which advance the field fundamentally and significantly. A vital aim of the quarterly is to bridge the gap between theory and practice of management information systems. The journal provides a vibrant forum for both academicians and industry specialists to explore the information systems and e-business. It serves those investigating new modes of information delivery and the changing landscape of information policy making, as well as practitioners and executives managing the information resource. The journal accepts empirical and theoretical submissions that make a significant contribution to the field of management information systems. Such contributions may present but not limited to:
 experimental, survey-based, or theoretical research relevant to the progress of the field
 paradigmatic designs and applications
 analyses of informational policy making in an organizational, national, or international setting
 investigations of social and economic issues of organizational computing

Journal of Management Information System Research and Development is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics.
