Aims and scope
Journal of Heritage Management and Conservation is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF. The Journal stimulates and encourages research devoted to the sustainable development of cultural heritage and to the positive contribution of cultural heritage management towards a sustainable environment. It develops the skills and knowledge of the international community working in the field of cultural heritage and sustainable development. It disseminates the results of innovative research and practices, contributing to the improvement of current practices while developing and applying new/emerging practices. Journal of Heritage Management & Conservation publishes a range of theoretical and practical papers based upon quantitative and qualitative methodological approaches. Articles are particularly welcome on immovable cultural heritage and its role in sustainable development, as well as the sustainable development of immovable cultural heritage. Immovable cultural heritage ranges from cultural landscapes to monuments. Other relevant dimensions of cultural heritage will also be considered for publication e.g. rural cultural heritage, indigenous cultural heritage management.
KMF Publication Ethics Statement
Journal of Heritage Management and Conservation is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.
Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal’s News & Announcements section.
