Aims and scope
Journal of Health and Lifespan Development Psychology is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF that publishes original research on all aspects of psychology related to health, health-related behaviour and illness across the lifespan. Papers including psychopathology, psychotherapy, behaviour therapy, cognitive therapies, behavioural medicine, health psychology, community mental health, sexual health, child development, psychological assessment, psychophysiology, neuropsychology, and so on. It aims to support and help shape research in health psychology from around the world. It provides a platform for traditional empirical analyses as well as more qualitative and/or critically oriented approaches. It also addresses the social contexts in which psychological and health processes are embedded. It encourages submissions of papers reporting experimental, theoretical and applied studies using quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods approaches. Research carried out at the individual, group and community levels is welcome.
KMF Publication Ethics Statement
Journal of Health and Lifespan Development Psychology is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.
