Aims and scope

Journal of Geoscience and Climate Change is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF. The journal opens a new era for the publication of geoscientific research articles, covering geology, geophysics, geochemistry, paleontology, structural geology, mineralogy, petrology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, environmental geology, economic geology, petroleum geology, hydrogeology, remote sensing and planetary geology. It accepts high-quality original research or review papers dealing with all aspects of the nature and origin of igneous and metamorphic rocks. We publish four types of articles:
 Research Articles include both empirical studies of a particular research question and new theoretical or philosophical approaches.
 Curriculum and Instruction papers describe new teaching materials or methods and provide evidence for their effectiveness.
 Literature Reviews synthesize and evaluate the published literature on a topic within geoscience education research or practice.
 Commentaries provide a critical or alternative viewpoint on a key issue or provide insight into an important development that is of broad interest to geoscience educators or researchers.

KMF Publication Ethics Statement

Journal of Geoscience and Climate Change is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.

Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal’s News & Announcements section.
