Aims and scope

Journal of Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Psychology is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF. The field of the journal seeks to improve the lives of women, and therefore of all people, through research, clinical practice, and social advocacy that focus on women and girls and social contexts in which women live. The field is multifaceted and perpetuated by psychologists studying issues that affect women and engaged in feminist practice around the world. The journal provides a forum for critical, radical, and provocative feminist scholarship that serves as an impetus for social change and for theoretical and methodological innovations in feminist psychology. It contributes to the transformation of psychology, has helped to clarify the dynamics of oppression and discrimination, and has stimulated new directions in the theories, methods, and practices of feminist psychology.

KMF Publication Ethics Statement

Journal of Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Psychology is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.

Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal’s News & Announcements section.
