Aims and scope
Journal of Chemical and Materials Synthesis Engineering is an international refereed journal quarterly online open access by KMF that publishes papers on technologies for the production, processing, transportation, and use of chemicals on a large scale. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the presentation of original fundamental research, interpretative reviews and discussion of new developments in chemical engineering. Studies typically relate to processes within chemical and energy industries, especially for production of food, pharmaceuticals, fuels, and chemical feedstocks. Topics of investigation cover plant design and operation, process design and analysis, control and reaction engineering, as well as hazard mitigation and safety measures. Papers which describe novel theory and its application to practice are welcome, as are those which illustrate the transfer of techniques from other disciplines. Reports of carefully executed experimental work, which is soundly interpreted are also welcome. The overall focus is on original and rigorous research results which have generic significance.
KMF Publication Ethics Statement
Journal of Chemical and Materials Synthesis Engineering is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.
