Aims and scope

Journal of Audiology and Hearing Science is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF that publishes original contributions to knowledge in all areas of Otolaryngology, Audiology, Phoniatrics, and Rhinology. Its primary mission is to offer an international forum for professionals; a secondary aim is to assist hearing practitioners by reporting new findings that may help patients with hearing, voice, speech, and balance disorders. The journal covers translational and clinical research across all areas of audiology, including but not limited to:
 Psychoacoustics
 Anatomy and physiology
 Cellular and molecular biology
 Genetics and aging
 Neuroscience
 Speech and hearing sciences
 Psychology and social sciences
 Rehabilitative devices
 Radiographic imaging
 Disorders of hearing, including vestibular
 Diagnostic testing

KMF Publication Ethics Statement

Journal of Audiology and Hearing Science is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.
