Aims and scope

Tourism Heritage and Cultural Studies is an international refereed journal quarterly online open access by KMF that publishes high-quality, refereed articles that advance the knowledge base of the hospitality and tourism field. It is designed to facilitate scholarly interchange among hospitality and tourism educators, industry practitioners and educators from related disciplines. It aims to serve the needs of all levels of hospitality and tourism education through the presentation of issues and opinions pertinent to the field. The journal focuses on original research, both conceptual and empirical, that clearly contributes to the theoretical development of our field. It is committed to a broad range of topics including tourism and travel management, leisure and recreation studies and the emerging field of event management. It contains both theoretical and applied research papers, and encourages the submission of the results of collaborative research undertaken between academia and industry.

KMF Publication Ethics Statement

Tourism Heritage and Cultural Studies is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.

Authors and publishers are encouraged to send review copies of their recent related books to the following address. Received books will be listed as Books Received within the journal’s News & Announcements section.
