Aims and scope
Journal of Water and Aquatic Science is an international refereed journal publishes quarterly online open access by KMF. The journal is covering new concepts, theories, methods, and techniques related to water issues. The journal aims to publish research that helps advance the theoretical and practical understanding of water resources, aquatic environment, aquatic ecology, and water engineering, with emphases placed on the innovation and applicability of science and technology in large-scale hydropower project construction, large river and lake regulation, inter-basin water transfer, hydroelectric energy development, ecological restoration, the development of new materials, and sustainable utilization of water resources. The coverage ranges from molecular-level mechanistic studies to investigations at the whole ecosystem scale, including fish ecology. Journal of Water and Aquatic Science publishes articles presenting research across disciplinary and environmental boundaries, i.e. studies examining interactions among geological, microbial, biological, chemical, physical, hydrological, and societal processes, as well as studies assessing land-water, air-water, benthic-pelagic, river-ocean, lentic-lotic, and groundwater-surface water interactions.
KMF Publication Ethics Statement
Journal of Water and Aquatic Science is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics. KMF takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. KMF takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously and our editors are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use latest software to check submissions against previous publications.
